Six years ago, I had an opportunity to release a compact disc featuring one of the most stellar performances I have ever witnessed by three of my favorite musicians. With the help of Bobby Hill's beautiful microlabel BMadish (which had previously released vocalist Ellen Christi's Quiet Resolution), The Gift: Live at Sangha was released to coincide with the 10th annual Vision Festival. Things being as they are, the digital download for this valuable work is just making its way to the public. Of course, if you purchase the full compact disc, you will also be in possession of the cool album art by Paula Stanley, Sarah Schmidt's really cool photo of the trio, and an absolutely inscrutable tale of unrequited love by yours truly which served as our liner notes. Enjoy.

"I saw Willaim Hooker, Roy Campbell and Jason Hwang play as the Gift at Tonic on 12 July 2005. I knew then I was witnessing something amazing and I've been buying their music ever since. But the live Gift cd was the one release that I had been waiting for. Incredible music! Highly recommended. Almost as good as being there."

The Gift, Live At Sangha - The Gift

I have chosen to distribute digital versions of my work through artist owned, a musician-owned cooperative that includes heavy hitters like Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Steve Coleman, and Oliver Lake. Each track is only .99 a hit and is guaranteed to be a high quality, full potency, original electroacoustic composition.
